													     		                            						                            																	    Abstract  Objective: To study the effect of the continue nursing in unipara in puerperium, improve unipara’newborn care skills and breastfeeding rate. Method: 446 postpartum women at term were chosen, the control group accepted a hospital outpatient visit, guidance and call for help, the experimental group used the continuation of nursing method on the basis of the control group, including telephone follow-up, QQ consulting, family visits, etc. Result:( 1) The delayed healing of incision, less puerperal infection, no milk or milk, mastitis, postpartum constipation, incidence of postpartum depression of the two groups were compared, the differences were statistically significant( P<0.05).( 2) The success rate of breastfeeding, neonatal nursing skills to master the situation of the two groups were compared, the differences were statistically significant( P<0.01). Conclusion: The application of the continuation of care in unipara puerperium can reduce the complication rate of primipara. Mothers of newborns nursing skills and mother’s milk feeding rate, promote the 
first-time mothers and newborn health.
