| Analysis of the Clinical Value of Mixed Venous Oxygen Saturation Monitoring in Patients after Open Heart Surgery |

Abstract Objective：To analyze the clinical value of mixed venous oxygen saturation monitoring in patients after open heart surgery.Method：40 patients with heart surgery in our hospital were selected.They were divided into two groups，group A was half an hour after the operation and group B was 6 to 8 hours after the surgery.urgery.Oxygen saturation（ SaO2），partial pressure of oxygen（PaO2），saturation（ SvO2） and partial pressure of oxygen（ PvO2） of mixed venous blood were measured.The oxygen utilization rate（O2ER） was calculated and the differences were compared between the two groups.Patients were divided into group Ⅰ and group Ⅱ according to their average SvO2.SvO2，staying-time in ICU and complications after surgery were compared between the two groups.Result：In group A and B，the values of PaO2 and O2ER were higher than before operation，the values of PvO2 and SvO2 were lower than before operation，the differences were statistically significant（P<0.05）.The values of PaO2 and SvO2 of group A were higher than those of group B，the value of O2ER of group A was significantly lower than that of group B（P<0.05）.The value of SvO2，staying-time in ICU and the incidence of low cardiac output，cardiac arrhythmia and hypoxemia of group Ⅱ were significantly better than those of group Ⅰ（P<0.05）.Conclusion：SvO2 has great value in the care after open heart surgery，its level can affect the incidence of complications and measure the oxygen balance of tissues.
