Effect Study of Diet and Life Nursing Intervention on Blood Glucose Control in Patients with DiabetesMellitus |

Abstract Objective: To investigate the effect of diet and life nursing intervention on blood glucose control inpatients with diabetes mellitus(DM).Method:68 patients with DM were randomly divided into the observation groupof 35 cases and the control group of 33 cases. Medcine treatment and routine nursing were given in two groups.What’smore, the observation group was given nursing intervention of diet,life and self monitoring of blood glucose. The changesof fasting plasma glucose(FPG), postprandial 2 h plasma glucose(2 h PG) and nd glycosylated hemoglobin( GHbA1c)in two groups were compared before and after intervention.Result:In observation group,the FPG,2 h PG and GHbA1cwere from(11.25±2.18)mmol/L,(18.94±3.15)mmol/L and( 9.42±1.16)%beforeintervention decreasedto( 6.35±1.42)mmol/L,(8.56±2.08)mmol/L and( 6.72±0.78)% after intervention ,the differences were
statistically significant( P<0.05); in control group, the FPG,2 h PG and GHbA1c were from(11.28±2.31)mmol/L,(19.03±3.42)mmol/L and(9.38±1.23)% before intervention decreased to(9.16±1.84)mmol/L,(12.92±2.34)mmol/Land(7.25±0.91)% after intervention( P<0.05);after intervention, all indexes in observation group were lower thanthose in control group, the difference was statistically significant( P<0.05).Conclusion: The diet and life nursingintervention can effectively control blood sugar, improve the life quality of the patients significantly.
