Abstract Objective：To investigate the cognition and demand of patients for wound dressing after operation，for clinical nurses on postoperative patients with wound related health education and psychological support to providescientific basis.Method：90 patients those who were admitted to our hospital for surgical treatment were analyzed， closlyobserve the patients’ life testify after surgery，and ask the patients for the questionnaire which was our hospital drawn up
that including general information and patient patient’s wound cognition， demand dressing， the current health care givento five aspects of the surgical wound dressing， patient satisfaction， through it we can learn postoperative wound dressingawareness and demand.Result：67.2% of the patients understand the purpose and significance of wound was still small，94.4% incomplete understanding of factors affecting wound healing；patients want doctors "once a day" to give a view andchange the dressing wounds accounted for 67.8% and 71.1%， the current clinical with "once a day" frequency view woundsaccounted for 57.8%， change the dressing accounted for 43.3%， the actual frequency as "two days or more a" accountedfor 27.8% and45.7%. Postoperative patient satisfaction with wound dressing change for 71.4%.Conclusion：Most of thepatients on the cognitive level of wound after operation and the patients are given low， wound on the doctor’s expectedvalue higher than the current clinical practice， thus affecting the satisfaction of patients in a certain extent.
