Abstract Objective:To evaluate the value of Anti-tissue transglutaminase antibodies and Anti-gliadin antibodies detection on the diagnosis of celiac disease.Method:Serum tTG antibodies and AGA were measured in 198 chronic diarrhea patients.Endoscopic and pathological findings were compared.Result:Among 15 CD patients who were confirmed by endoscopic and pathological diagnosis, 14 cases were tTG antibodies positive and 15 cases were AGA positive.5 cases showed tTG antibodies and 28 cases showed AGA in 183 non-CD patients. Conclusion:ROC curve analysis indicated that positive predicted value(PPV)and negative predicted value(NPV)of tTG antibodies were higher than of AGA.It might be used as a useful mark for screening and diagnosis CD.
