Abstract Objective：Advocates of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease（ COPD） patients with long-termoxygen therapy can improve the survival rate of the family.Method：Using the questionnaire survey and through telephone follow-up of patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease about 450 cases， to understand the family oxygen therapy of oxygen time， oxygen consumption and oxygen use device， put forward the oxygen therapy in family matters needing
attention.Result：Family patients every day adhere to the oxygen in 15 h above， can improve lung function， strengthen the body immunity， has a significant effect on improving the function of the system.Conclusion：Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease patients every day adhere to long-term home oxygen therapy， can reduce the economic burden of patients， to improve the quality of life of the patients， to reduce the medical cost and expenses， improve the survival rate.It
is worth the community health promotion.
