Abstract Objective：To investigate the effect of acupuncture combined with clinical treatment of chronic pelvic inflammatory disease. Method：90 patients with chronic pelvic inflammatory disease were selected from January 2012 to February 2014 in our hospital，they were randomly divided into two groups，45 patients in each group，the control group were given pure traditional Chinese medicine treatment，the observation group were observed in the use of traditional Chinese medicine，based on the method of treatment plus acupuncture，the clinical outcomes in the two groups were compare. Result：The clinical effective rate of the observation group was 97.8%，the recurrence rate was 6.7%，in the control group were 82.2%，22.2%，the differences were statistically significant（ P<0.05）. Conclusion：Chinese herbs combined with acupuncture treatment of chronic pelvic inflammatory effect is remarkable，good clinical results，recurrence rate，help to improve the quality of life of patients，the kind of treatment should be promoted in clinical practice.
