Abstract Objective：To probe into the application effect of basic-level hospitals accreditation standards in medical record quality management.Method：The hospital medical record quality of terminal high repair rate situation from January 2012 to March 2012 was analysed ，then found reasons of this phenomenon and carried out PDCA cycle management from April 2012 to December 2013.The hospital medical record quality evaluation scores，screening repair rate and class A medical record rate were compared.Result：The hospital medical record quality evaluation scores，screening repair rate and class A medical record rate after the PDCA cycle management were better than that before the PDCA cycle management.The difference was statistically significant（P<0.05）. Conclusion：Carrying out PDCA management in basic-level hospital can significantly optimize the quality of medical record.
