Abstract Objective：To analyze causes of insufficient blood volume in volunteer blood donors，seek to improve solution measures.Method：From January 2013 to July 2014，307 cases of insufficient volume blood in 101 619 voluntary blood donors come into being the cause of analyses and statistics.Result：Incidence of deficiency of blood collection was 0.302%，which proportion of deficiency cause by a reaction of 0.133%，see needles and other reasons causing the deficiency rate was 0.169%.Teams lack of voluntary unpaid blood donation amount less proportion of voluntary unpaid blood donation shortage.Insufficient flow of voluntary unpaid blood donation ratio higher than that of blood donation.Conclusion：Providing a good environment for blood donation，improved puncture technique of blood nurse ，prevention and reaction ，to reduce the amount of enough blood from source .
