Abstract Objective：To investigate the risk factors and nursing countermeasures of catheter-associated urinary tract infection（ CAUTI） among patients with indwelling catheter.Method：The incidence of CAUTI in 320 patients with indwelling catheter were observed，and its risk factors and nursing countermeasures were explored.Result：Among 320 patients with indwelling catheter，60 cases had CAUTI，the incidence rate was 18.75%.Logistic regression showed the risk factors of CAUTI were age，gender，time of indwelling catheter and bladder irrigation.Conclusion：The incidence rate of CAUTI is still at a high level in patients with indwelling catheter.Nurses must take proper measures to prevent and reduce the incidence of CAUTI.
