Abstract Objective： To investigate the clinical effects by using multiloop edgewise arch wire technique in
treatment of anterior open-bite.Method：32 patients of anterior open-bite were treated，they were compared by the SNA，SNB，ANB，SN-MP，U6-PP（mm），L6-MP（mm），U1-PP（mm），L1-MP（mm），U1-SN（mm），L1-MP
（mm），ODI，OB（mm） with cephalometric analysis of before and after treatment.Result：After the treatment，all patients got successful outcome，which achieved mainly by retraction of upper and lower incisiors，all of them had normal overbite，overjet and good occlusion. Conclusion： The successful treatment outcome indicates that multiloop edgewise archwire is one of the effective methods in the treatment of anterior open-bite.
