Abstract Objective： To research comprehensive nursing of superficial vein catheterization of intravenous addicts， for patients with venous addiction bring substantive quality of clinical nursing experience.Method：From February 2012 to September 2014，intravenous addiction patients hospitalized in our department were divided into case-control group and treatment group randomly.Venous addict under the improved remedy of superficial vein catheterization was set to the treatment group and venous addict under routine treatment of superficial vein catheterization was set to the case-control group，the nursing effect of two groups were compared.Result：After improving technology of venous addicts superficial vein tube insertion， compared with control group，it had the high one-time success rate of catheter，lower complication，longer the time of insertion and higher nursing satisfaction （P<0.05）.Conclusion：Through an improvement of the comprehensive nursing measures in catheter nursing， flushing vascular nursing， and psychological care， to manage the problem of venous vascular addicts， can obtain good clinical effect. It is worthy to further spread and apply.
