Abstract Objective：To observe the clinical application effect of the BLX machine by nickel-titanium instrument in a root canal treatment.Method：200 patients who needed to do a root canal were selected according to the patients’willing， the machine with BLX nickel-titanium instrument root canal preparation or hand type with stainless
steel K file root canal preparation were selected， two methods of pain happening after root canal preparation filling were compared.Result：The incidence of acute pain during root canal therapy， machine with BLX nickel-titanium instrument root canal preparation filling group was 7%， hand type with stainless steel K file prepared root canal filling group was 37%， the difference was statistically significant（P<0.05）.Conclusion：The BLX nickel titanium machine system used
in root canal preparation， and improve the work efficiency， reduce the acute pain during root canal therapy，good for root canal filling treatment.
