Abstract Objective: To evaluate the effect of fluid therapy with FloTrac/Vigileo monitoring during anesthesia for glioma resection patients’ prognosis. Method: 60 patients undergoing elective glioma craniotomy were randomly divided into 2 groups( n=30): experimental group( group E) and control group( group C). During anesthesia, the patients in the group E received goal-directed fluid therapy with FloTrac/Vigileo monitoring, while the patients in the group C were given the conventional liquid treatment, and the patients’ prognosis of the two groups were compared. Result: The cardiac index in postoperative 24 h( T6) of the group E was( 4.44±1.21)L/(min·m2), which was higher than that of the group C( 3.89±1.01)L/(min·m2). After treatment, the patients’ duration of stay in ICU was( 15.43±4.54)h and duration of hospital( 15.56±4.12) d in the group E, which was significantly less than that of the group C, which were( 20.68±5.31) h and( 19.22±4.35) d( P<0.05). Conclusion: The fluid therapy with FloTrac/Vigileo monitoring during anesthesia for glioma resection patient can effectively improve the cardiac index, and maintain the stability of hemodynamics, and shorten the patients’ duration of stay in ICU and duration of hospital, which is deserved to promote.
