Abstract Objective： To assess effect on ovarian adenocarcinoma cell HO-8910 by gallium nitrate， investigate the expression of Bcl-2， Bax and Caspase-3. Method： The human ovarian cancer cell line HO-8910 was cultured and treated with drugs， expression of Bcl-2， Bax and Caspase-3 was analyzed by Western blot. Result： The expression of Bcl-2 protein was down regulated in gallium nitrate group， cisplatin group and combination group compare with control. Bax and aspase-3 protein was activated in gallium nitrate group and combination group compare with control.Conclusion： Effects of gallium nitrate on human ovarian cancer cells， may be associating with the expression of Bcl-2 levels is decrease， Bax， Caspase are up regulation.
