Abstract Objective：To investigate the correlation and meaning of glycosylated hemoglobin（HbAlc） and fasting plasma glucose（FPG）.Blood lipid in the patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus.Method：HbAlc and FPG，total cholesterol（TCH），triglyceride（TG），high density lipoprotein cholesterol（HDL-C），low density lipoprotein cholesterol（LDL-C） were detected in 400 patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus（T2MD group） and 400 healthy physical examines（control group）.The correlation were analyzed.HbAlc use high performance liquid chromatography，FPG and TC use oxidase method，TG use glycerol phosphate oxidase method，HDL-C，LDL-C use direct method.To proceed statistics analysis and manage for detection results.Result：The HbAlc and FPG were positively correlated in the T2DM group，showing statistical difference（r=0.887，P<0.05）.Meanwhile it is positively correlated in the T2DM group and control group（P<0.05）.HbAlc was positively correlated with the levels of TC，TG，LDL-C（P<0.05），while was negatively correlated with the levels of HDL-C（P<0.05）.In the D2DM group，HbAlc，FPG，TG，TCH，LDL-C were higher than those in the control group，showing statistical difference （P<0.05）.Conclusion：HbAlc was correlated with the levels of FPG blood lipid.To combined detection with the levels of HbAlc，FPG and blood lipid in the patients with T2DM.Aspects efficacy patients with T2DM，disease diagnosis and control，and prevention of complications arising etc.are of great significance.
