Abstract Objective: To observe the clinical effect of Pinggan Ningxin massage combined with sensory integration in the treatment of children with tic disorder (TD). Method: A total of 60 children with TD who were admitted to the Department of Traditional Chinese Medicine Pediatrics and Rehabilitation of Baogang Hospital of Inner Mongolia from April 2019 to May 2020 were divided into a control group and an observation group according to random number table method, with 30 cases in each group. The control group was treated with Tiapride Hydrochloride Tablets, and the observation group was treated with Pinggan Ningxin massage combined with sensory integration. Yale globle tic severity scale (YGTSS) and TCM symptom scores were used to evaluate the condition of children before and after treatment, and the curative effects of the two groups were compared. Result: The total effective rate in the observation group was 90.00%, which was higher than 56.67% in the control group (P<0.05). After treatment, the motor twitch, vocal twitch, overall injury scores, total scores of YGTSS and TCM symptom scores of the two groups were lower than those before treatment, and the observation group were lower than those of the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion: Pinggan Ningxin massage combined with sensory integration has good clinical effect on children with TD, and it is worthy of clinical application.
