Influence of Nursing Intervention in Patients with Esophageal Cancer Resection Surgery Complications Related to Nursing |

Abstract Objective: To investigate the effects of nursing intervention in patients undergoing radical surgeryrelated complications of esophageal cancer care. Method: 92 cases from 2012 February to 2014 February in our hospital were esophageal cancer radical surgery patients, who were randomly divided into experimental group and control group,each group contained 46 cases. The control group was only given routine nursing care, the experimental group received nursing intervention based on routine nursing care, including prevention of hypothermia nursing, pressure ulcers and brachial plexus injury nursing, electric knife burn care, corneal inflammation, venous cannula nursing fluid extravasation nursing. Difference and the satisfaction of patients complications were compared between the two groups. Result: The experimental group’s low body temperature, pressure sores, electric knife burns, eye keratinize, brachial plexus injury, intravenous canola liquid leakage complication rates was 4.35%, 4.35%, 2.17%, 0, 2.17%, 4.35%, which was significantly lower than that of the control group respectively, with significant differences( P<0.05). Patient satisfaction rate of the experimental group was 97.83%, which was higher than 80.44% of the control group( P<0.05).Conclusion: To give nursing intervention for patients with complications in radical resection of esophageal cancer, reduce the incidence of complications; improve operation quality and patient satisfaction. Nursing intervention to reduce nursing complications of radical surgery in patients with esophageal cancer incidence is of great significance, it is worthy clinical application.
