Abstract Objective:To study the impact of individualized diet management( IDM)on compliance and pregnancy outcomes of patients with gestational diabetes(GDM).Method:122 GDM patients willing to cooperate with IDM were divided into observation group(IDM adhere time>1 week,n=72) and control group(IDM adhere time<1 week,n=50).Two groups had periodic follow-up until fetal childbirth. Adverse pregnancy outcomes,IDM body mass index( BMI),compliance and satisfaction of 2 groups were compared.Result:Compared with control group,hydramnios,premature rupture of membranes,preterm birth and other adverse pregnancy outcomes rate of observation group was reduced;compliance,very satisfaction rate and overall satisfaction rate were increased(P<0.05).BMI of observation group after birth increased was( 5.02±0.87)kg/m2, which were lower than the( 5.95±0.94)kg/m2 of control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:IDM used in GDM patients can reduce adverse pregnancy outcomes, control BMI and improve compliance and satisfaction.
